Yes! Our customers add seating inside all the time, usually a fold up chair or something like it. Those are handy because they can be out of the way in case you have company over and need to fit more people than usual inside your tornado safe room. We do not recommend benches because FEMA advises not to be right up against the walls when a tornado comes through. So that if something does fall or hit up against the outside of the tornado safe room, you won’t be caught off guard by it. As a reminder our safe rooms are EF-5 certified and FEMA compliant to withstand even the worst of tornadoes.
