CENTRAL US

A large swath of the Central US Region has earned the moniker “Tornado Alley” due to the high number of tornadoes that occur in this area on an annual basis. The convergence of cool, dry westerly air from the Rocky Mountains and warm, humid southerly air from the Gulf of Mexico often creates perfect conditions that spin up severe weather and tornadoes. We’ve defined our safe room Central US Service Area as Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana. Select your state from the menu for information about tornadoes, severe weather, FEMA rebates, and other facts about your local weather.
