The 40" width of the Allegiant safe room allows for the door to be placed on the narrow dimension of the unit which is often favorable for garage and closet installations. There's no need to sacrifice a parking space in the garage or storage space in the closet with this unit. The rectangular Allegiant provides as much space as the square footprint of the Rampart, with both units being rated for 7 occupants. With the Allegiant you can pull your car right up to the wide side of safe room without blocking access to the door on the 40" wide end. You do not need to specify your desired door position when ordering. This safe room kit comes with everything needed to position the door on the narrow end or the wide side.
